Boardwalk Lodge is an ideal venue for intimate weddings, honeymoons, celebrations, meetings, small conferences, team building events, or other corporate functions. It is only 15 minutes’ drive from George Airport, situated in the sleepy village of Wilderness, just off the N2 towards Knysna. The Boardwalk Lodge offers peace and quiet to the weary city dweller – the ideal retreat to relax and wind down.

The lodge can host up to 30 people in luxury bed and breakfast rooms or distinctive self-catering timber cabins (sleeper couches are available for 10 kiddies). Our professional and trade contacts are there to help organise the big day and make sure all goes without a hitch. In the splendour of one of our spacious luxury suites, the bride-to-be can dress in comfort before the ceremony, which can be conducted in the St Aidens Chapel, a mere two-minute walk from Boardwalk Lodge. You will be spoilt for photo opportunities to cherish the memories of your special day. Customised menus are easily arranged, as well as a choice of wines and floral decor throughout.
